As a youngster Randi surprised us all with an impressive win at the Eukanuba Breeder Showcase Sweepstakes December 2001, by taking Best Of Breed Jr Puppy and Herding Group 1 Jr Puppy. Later that same weekend she took Reserve Winners Bitch at her very first AKC Conformation Show. In November 2002, she took back to back major wins at the Decatur Alabama Kennel Club Show and Huntsville Kennel Club Show to finish her Championship Title. In 2003 Randi hit the Specials ring and took some impressive group placements. Randi loved to perform in the agility ring. In May 2003 she earned her Novice Standard and Jumpers with Weaves titles in 3 straight trials. She went on to earn her Open Standard and Open Jumpers With Weaves agility titles. Next it was the herding ring. She earned her HT title and now holds the ASSA Versatility Certificate title. Randi was special and was out of a special litter of 3 girls. All 3 litter mates finished their AKC champion titles and ASSA versatility titles (Randi, Morgan and MacKenzie) all owner-handled by April Dunford. Randi was dearly loved and will be missed by everyone at Summerlove Shelties. Rest in Peace our darling Randi.
